SUBMISSION GUIDELINES

We review materials of potential clients weekly and interviews as agents are available. There are NO OPEN CALLS at Atlanta Models & Talent, Inc.

What do I do to inquire about representation with AM&T?

FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS:

• Please DO NOT telephone.
• DO NOT attempt to submit photos, resumes, contact sheets, proofs, VO demos or on-camera demos via EMAIL.
• DO MAIL your materials to us and we will review them as quickly as possible.
• IF you want a RESPONSE, send a SASE with your materials.
• IF you want your materials RETURNED, provide an envelope of adequate size and postage to provide for the return of the materials.

REQUIREMENTS:

ACTORS:
Adult: We require you be a professional actor with 3-5 years experience in legitimate theatre and/or film and television. You must submit your headshot and resume in hard copy via U.S. Mail or other delivery company or drop it off at the office. If you have a DVD demo of clips of your film/TV work, please include a copy for us to view. These materials are not returnable unless you have provided an adequate sized envelope and postage. Do not submit originals, masters, or “one of a kind” copies; we cannot be responsible for them. Please include a short cover letter with contact information.
NOTE: Trade show spokespersons should submit a headshot/resume with a DVD of some live and/or video spokesperson work.

Teens and Children: We begin reviewing children around age 6 and prefer the children and teens have grades which are excellent so that they may be excused from school for bookings. Any acting, modeling, singing or dancing performance is a plus when parents of youth are attempting to hire an agent, so make sure you have everything on the resume for us to review.
Most children and teens need training as actors to compete for TV commercials as well as film and TV show roles. Any acting or dancing or singing experience the child or teen can gain at school or church/synagogue or in community theater will help prepare the child or teen for competition in the industry. Acting lessons with a studio geared for training children or teens will be extremely helpful for the youth at auditions and jobs.
NOTE: Parents of teens and children should research the industry through reading before deciding to approach an agent regarding the youth. Please check our reading list for helpful references.
In Georgia, there are child labor laws for the entertainment industry. The Georgia Labor Department can mail you a copy.

VO Talent:
Professional VO talent should mail, ship, or deliver your current CD demo (in MP3 format) to our office along with a resume of your work and short cover letter with contact information. We will call you for either an in-person or phone meeting appointment..

Models:
Simply by the definition and concept of the word “model,” a particular size and shape and image are expected. Below are our requirements for models seeking to inquire about representation (remember there are no open calls; if you meet the requirements, mail, ship or deliver your headshot/laser copies/comp card and resume to our office.)
Our print bookings are usually weekdays in Metro Atlanta.
We DO NOT usually book runway, but DO book trade show models.

Adult Female
5’8” to 5’11” *
Model slim
Photogenic

Adult Male
6’0” to 6’2” *
Model slim (Usually 40R to 42L Coat)
Photogenic

* Some commercial / lifestyle models (products other then clothing) may be a bit shorter than the heights mentioned above. Photographers prefer tall models unless they are booking characters in which case they book from the actor’s roster. Applicants for commercial modeling should have at least 1 – 2 years experience as professional actors or models

• NOTE: Trade show models are booked based on their look and personality; there is no height requirement. However, some acting skills are required for some trade show jobs. For information on trade show spokespersons, please see above under “Actors-Adult”.

Teens & Child Models
Most teens and child models we book are for commercial (non clothing) products, so we are looking for nice looking, photogenic, good personality teens and children whose grades are excellent so that they may be excused from school for bookings. Many teen bookings are pulled from the teen actors’ roster.

NOTE: Parents of teens and children should research the industry through reading before deciding to approach an agent regarding the youth. Please check our reading list for helpful references.
